What this is, and what it is not
The Case File explains the court documents you upload in simple words. It is an information tool. It is not legal advice, it is not a law firm, and it does not create a lawyer-client relationship. It does not predict what a court will decide, and it does not tell you what to argue or file. Please always check with your own lawyer before you act on anything.
The explanation is produced by an AI system. We check that every point matches words found in your document and we show you those words, but mistakes are still possible, especially with blurred scans or handwriting. Always compare dates and instructions with your original paper.
Your files and privacy
- When you upload a document, it is sent to an AI service (Anthropic) so it can be read and explained. That service handles it under its own terms.
- We do not save your document. It is processed while you wait and is not written to our storage.
- We keep simple usage counts (for example, that an upload happened and whether it worked). If you type a WhatsApp number or email into the contact box, we keep it in our own cloud storage and use it only to tell you when the Lawyer Brief opens. You can ask us to delete it at any time. We do not keep your document text in any of these records.
- To stop automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is using the page. Cloudflare may receive your IP address and browser details for this check.
- We do not sell your information and do not use your documents to train models.
- Please do not upload anything you are not comfortable sharing, and do not upload documents of other people without their permission.
Terms of use
- This is an early test version, provided as is. It may be wrong, slow or unavailable.
- You are responsible for what you upload and for how you use the explanation.
- Do not use it to create, alter or hide any document or evidence. It is for understanding documents that already exist.
- We may limit how often a person can use it.
